Time-Honored Casketed Funerals:

Choose the Options that Speak to You


Starkson Family offers professional, distinctive, personal, and elegant services designed to help you honor your loved one in a way that is unique to them and meaningful to you. While we encourage you to create a service that speaks to your family, most traditional casketed funerals consist of the following: embalming and professional care of the body, private viewing for the family, public viewing and visitation, transportation of the casket to the church or chapel, and transportation of the casket to the cemetery or mausoleum for disposition.

Visitation

This time is set aside for family and friends to gather together to say goodbye, while being in the comfort of those closest to them. We can personalize the visitation to be as unique as your loved one with a tribute video, items, or hobbies that were important to your loved one, or simply display pictures. We will work with your family to design the perfect gathering experience.

Funeral Service

The funeral service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue your family chooses. We will work with your family (and clergy, when applicable) to design a service that honors your loved one, truly celebrating their life. Our funeral home chapels have a piano available, as well as cameras for webcasting the service. When the service is at one of our locations, we can help you find an accompanist and singer.

Graveside Service

A graveside service is held at the cemetery. We have a tent, chairs, artificial grass, podium, bottled water, tables and a PA system (microphone and speaker) available. When the funeral service is at the funeral home chapel or a church, we will typically go in procession to the cemetery, where a committal service is held.
