Zachary Van De Velde

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Zack, who left us too soon this past Monday, April 20, 2026 at the age of 32.

Zack loved snowboarding and played soccer for many years. He cherished time with his family, especially on camping trips together.

He had a huge heart and a deep love for animals, especially his dog Tyson, whom he adopted from the Animal Ark.

Zack was a devoted Minnesota sports fan and loved watching the Vikings and Timberwolves with his dad.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his love for his family, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed.

Zack is survived by his mother, Karen; his father, Phil; and his sister, Courtney.

A memorial gathering will be held Monday, April 27th from 4:00–6:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Animal Ark in Zack’s honor.
