Wiwika Alice (Vee) Norton

Norton, Wiwika Alice (Vee), strong, sensible, beautiful, kind, generous, patient and ever full of grace. That is how Vee will be remembered by her family and friends. Vee passed on January 12, 2011 at the age of 94. She was a devoted wife to Maurice Eli Norton and mother to four children. She loved the outdoors and actively served others through her church and Meals on Wheels. A resilient Swede, Vee endured the deaths of her husband, brother, Folke, sister, Sonja and two of her daughters with a serenity and faith that demonstrated her unwavering trust in God. Vee is survived by her brother, Ronald; her sons, Mick and Tom, their wives and many children and grandchildren; and the children and grandchildren of her daughter Jan. Vee’s life will be celebrated at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 41st St. & 37th Ave. S. on Tuesday 1/18/11 at 1:00pm. Visitation Monday 5-8pm, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. and one hour prior to service at church. Interment Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Susan G.
