Willis C. "Willie" Moline

Willis C. �Willie� Moline, age 83 of Hastings died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis. Willie was born July 22, 1929 to Edwin T. and Dorothea (Seline) Moline on Goat Back Road, Frankfort Township, Pepin County, Wisconsin. After high school graduation, he joined the Army and served during the Korean War. He married Jean A. Dodge on December 28, 1954 at St. Mel�s Church in Rhame, North Dakota. Willie was the parts manager at Bahls Motor and Implement in Hastings for forty years prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents. Willie is survived by his wife Jean; daughters Kristin Anne Moline of Toledo, OH and Dorothea �Thea� (Michael Cuddy) Moline of Minneapolis; son Kurt (Mary) Moline of Oakdale; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Cuddy, Catherine Cuddy, Anne Cuddy, Eva Moline and Cecilia Moline; one grandson Isaac Moline; sister Lila Moline Manor of Eau Claire, WI; brother Ivar Moline of Beloit, WI; also many nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Ed Frederick will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Philip�s Lutheran Church, Fifteenth and Pleasant Streets, Hastings. A Memorial Gathering will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the MN Veterans Home in the Minneapolis and Minnesota Alzheimer�s Association.
