William J. Thomson “Jim”
Age 80 of Shakopee, born February 6, 1932 in Minneapolis to William J. “Scottie” and Alfreda Thomson, passed away peacefully at home. Jim retired from the Property Management Group at Wells Fargo in 1988. Jim enjoyed golf and was a 48 year member of the Minnesota Valley Country Club. He was always available for ranger work in local tournaments as well as working several national pro events. He also enjoyed softball in which he played, coached and refereed for several years. Jim served in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division “Screaming Eagles” during the Korean War. Jim will be missed by his six cousins and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM, with a visitation one hour before, Friday, April 20, 2012 at Minnesota Valley Country Club, 6300 Auto Club Road, Bloomington. Private interment, Crystal Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
