William J. age 70, of Rosemount, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 12/26/09, after a long courageous battle fighting cancer. Bill proudly served in the Navy and was a retired member of the Local 49’ers. He was also an active member of the MSRA. He will always be remembered for his love of his family and friends, his wisdom and talent for fixing anything. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ethel; brothers, Earl and Edward. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; children, Bryan (Lynn Lipinski), Leslie and Heidi (Scott) Koenig; grandchildren, Keaton, Cade, Steve, Nicole, Anthony (Ann) and Matt; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Ayva, Abbie and Aiden; siblings, Ervin “Bud” (Edith), Carole Sorenson, Daniel (Paulette) and RoseMary (Jan Clark); many nieces, nephews and faithful friends. Funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 30th at 11 AM Christ Lutheran Church, 1930 Diffley Road, Eagan, MN with his visitation Tuesday, Dec. 29th, 4-7 PM Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN and one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorials to Caringbridge or American Cancer Society .
