William Duane Gessell

William Duane Gessell, 53, of Hopkins, passed away surrounded by his loving family Thursday, March 12. He was born November 15, 1961 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Duane Joseph and Elvera Agnes (nee Scheeler) Gessell. William is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patti; son Nick (Cara), granddaughter Stella; and sisters Debra (Brad) Orrock and Sandra Erickson. He was preceded in death by his parents. William was a diligent and hard worker who loved his family. His sacrificial love for others will be forever loved and treasured. Visitation is scheduled for 4-7 PM Thursday, March 19 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, and 1 hour prior to an 11 AM Funeral Service Friday, March 20 at the Mortuary.
