William "Bill" O. Durow

William "Bill" O. Durow, age 86, of Hastings, passed away December 17, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinsons. Bill was a life long dairy and crop farmer in Washington County. He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Myrtle Durow. Bill is survived by wife, Marilyn; daughter, LeAnn (Michael) Marshall; sons, William A. (Jody) Durow; Robert (Lauri) Durow; and Bryan Durow; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Violet Durow; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Resurrection United Methodist Church of Hastings, 615 15th St. W., Hastings with Pastor Chris Kneen officiating. Immediately following the funeral service, a reception will be held at church. Interment will be held at Old Cottage Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening (12/26) at Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory, 201 7th St. E., Hastings and for one hour prior to the service Thursday morning at church. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
