William L. Tomlinson

Age 87 of Minneapolis, born January 17, 1928 in Askov, MN to Harlan & Lillie Tomlinson, passed away July 3, 2015. Bill served in the US Army after WWII in Japan, followed by a 30 year career as a 6th grade Minneapolis public school teacher at Morris Park Elementary.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne. Bill will be dearly missed by his children: Kathleen (Brent) Blonigan, William Tomlinson, Lisa (Paul) Mykkeltvedt and Anne-Marie (Dan) Venier; grandchildren: Alyssa, Cheri, Kyle, Jared, Cody, Marissa and Ben: great-grandchildren: Wally and Eleanor; brother, Kenneth Tomlinson and many friends.

Memorial service, 11:00am, Thursday, July 23, 2015 with visitation one hour before at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S., Minneapolis. William will be laid to rest with his wife, Jeanne at Lakewood Cemetery.
