William "Bill" J. Mccarthy

William J. 'Bill' McCarthy, age 56, of Hastings, MN, passed away from cancer, at home surrounded by his family on August 22, 2018. Bill lived a simple yet busy life. He loved fishing, motorcycle rides, and being with his children and grandchildren. He was an Auto Mechanic for over 30 years and really enjoyed doing projects to keep busy. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett McCarthy. Bill is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Mathias) Dalluhn and Sara (Dave) Sticha; granddaughters, Makenna and Korrin; mother, Dorothy McCarthy, siblings, Bob (Michelle), Jerry (Terry), Ed (Denise), Kenny, Julie, Evelyn (Bruce), and Eugene; many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday (8/27) from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St. in Hastings.
