William "Bill" Gale Koepsell

73, of Apple Valley, passed away Thursday May 11^th peacefully with the same confidence and serenity that brought him through his 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Though most recently Bill worked in the business world, his time teaching elementary school in both California and Minnesota defined his caring and giving spirit. Bill loved traveling, genealogy and golf, however he could find no greater joy than simply being amongst family and friends. Bill leaves behind his son, Drew; sister-in-law Kathy Piwarski; niece, Melissa Piwarski; nephew, Jason Piwarski and rejoins his wife, Barbara. A celebration of Bill’s life will take place on June 3^rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson FH in Apple Valley with a gathering of friends and family an hour prior to the service.
