Wesley Olaf Larson

Age 93 of Minneapolis, born September 3, 1927 in Cokato, MN to Ole & Esther Larson, passed away peacefully, June 1, 2021.

Wes proudly served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a hard worker, working for many years at Browns Ice Cream, Northland Ice Cream and finally retiring from Perlman-Rogue. Wes enjoyed the outdoors; boating, waterskiing and golfing and he was also an avid bowler, playing in many tournaments. Most of all, Wes loved his family.  He looked forward every summer to creating memories with them at the cabin in Buffalo, MN on Lake Pulaski.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ruth.  Wesley will be dearly missed by his children: Ross, Faith, Reed (Kimberly) and Jay (Kerry); grandchildren: Shelby (Mauricio) Molina, Ian, Lesley (Matt) Anderson, Andrew (Katy), Evan (Abbie), Erika (Ryan) Krebs and Erin; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Lowell Larson; sister, Joyce Howe and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held 6-8pm, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23^rd Avenue S., Mpls.  Wesley and Ruth will be laid to rest together at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
