Wendy Rae Veith

Wendy Rae Veith, age 40 of Hastings passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, February 6, 2011. Wendy was born May 5, 1970 in Minneapolis to Kenneth and Linda (Nordby) Veith. She was a 1988 graduate of Hastings High School and attended St. Cloud State and Inver Grove Heights Community College. She was an accountant for Marathon Oil and was active in Hastings Hockey as a registrar. Wendy is survived by her two sons, Daniel and Aric Tobritzhofer and their father, Dan; her parents Ken and Linda Veith; sister Tammy (Ross) Kwiatkowski; brother Derek (Jenny)Veith; her fianc� Deni Pfeifer; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Erland Asmus and Rev. Nevin Crowther will be held 11am Friday, February 11, 2011 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 880 Neal Avenue South, Afton, MN. The visitation will be held 4-8pm Thursday at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings and Friday one hour prior to the service at church. Pallbearers are Thomas Kwiatkowski, James Nordby, Jeffrey Nordby, Bradley Nordby, John Edge, and David Oney; honorary pallbearer is Kenneth Veith.
