Wayne Maurice Giefer, age 68 of Hastings passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011. He was born on May 24, 1943 to Maurice & Rosella Giefer in Marshall, MN. He was an accomplished machinist who enjoyed his cabin, fishing and traveling. Wayne is survived by his wife, Alice; daughter, Lori Giefer; son, Jason Giefer; granddaughter, Nora Giefer; mother, Rosella Olson; many, many other relatives & friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday (6/24) 11:00 am at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 9th St. W., Hastings. Visitation will be Thursday (6/23) 5:00 - 8:00pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings as well as one hour prior to the service at church. Private Interment.
