Walter R. Herby “Pete”

from Waubun, MN, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Oct. 31st 2018 in Mpls., MN.  He was born to parents Clara & Chris Herby. Proud World War II Vet of the US Navy, retiree from the Mpls. Park Board with over 30 years of service.  Avid fisherman who loved spending time at his cabin with family & friends.  Herby is survived by wife of 62 years, Jane; son, Dean (Beth); granddaughter, Sara (Alex); grandson, Donovan; sister, Evie Wermager and many nieces & nephews.  Memorial Service 1 PM, Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. with visitation 1 hour before.
