Walter Eisenbeis

Age 94, formerly of Bloomington, born August 11, 1926 in Burnstad, ND to Jacob & Magdalena Eisenbeis of Wishek, ND, passed away peacefully, October 8, 2020. Walt was a WWII Army veteran, having served his country in the Pacific theatre, an IBEW union electrician and a long-time supporter of Christian education. He loved reading his Bible, gardening, polka music and watching the MN Twins. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geneva “Genny” and brother, Eugene.  Walt will be dearly missed by his children: Jason (Rhonda), Joseph (Pennie) and Julie (Kent) Broscoff; grandchildren: Rev. Christian (Leah), Elizabeth (Derek) Fuglestad, Martha, Jacob, Magdalena, Samuel, Jonas (Madison), Andrew and Ava and great-grandchildren: Flora, Henry, Isabelle, Morgan, Chloe, Javier, Vincent and Victor. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 with a reviewal one hour before at Bloomington Lutheran Church, 9350 Portland Ave. S., Bloomington. Walt will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery with his wife, Genny at a later date.  Memorials may be given to Bloomington Lutheran School or St. Croix Lutheran Academy.
