Vishali Betham

July 10, 1975 — June 23, 2025

Apple Valley Chapel

With deep sorrow and abiding faith in Christ, we announce the passing of Vishali Betham, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who was called to her eternal home. She passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.

Vishali was born on July 10, 1975, in India, to parents, Kanthamma and Balaraju. She completed her early education at St. Joseph Girls School and went on to earn a B.Tech from Andhra University in Vizag and later her MBA. She was married on June 15, 2004, at CSI Church in Allagadda, Andhra Pradesh, India. Just a few months later, in October 2004, she and her husband began a new chapter in the United States.

Together they were blessed with three beautiful children: Joanna, Jayden, and Joyce. She was a dedicated mother who provided the spiritual and emotional foundation for her children and her family.

Professionally, she worked as a software engineer in IT, skillfully balancing her career with the responsibilities of motherhood, marriage, and faith. Her journey took her through Jackson, Mississippi; Saint Paul; Woodbury; and Apple Valley, ultimately finding a spiritual home at Riverview Baptist Church in West Saint Paul.

She lived her faith with action—cooking meals not only for her family but also for those in need. During the pandemic, she selflessly prepared and served meals for over 300 people, embodying the compassion and kindness she drew from Christ.

Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering positivity. She was hardworking, independent, compassionate, and gracious—always asking, “To whom can I help?” She gave wholeheartedly to her church community and to all who crossed her path.

She is survived by her husband, Johnson; cherished children, Joanna, Jayden, and Joyce; her loving mother, Kanthamma; and her siblings: Rajani Kanth Betham (Nancy Hema Chigurupata), Sunil Betham (Sunitha Betham), Madhavi Betham (Samuel Prakash Velavala), and Shanthi Sri Betham (Sudhakar Babu Vedala). She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Balaraju Betham.

She carried the grace of Christ with her in every moment, and her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her. Yet, we rejoice in knowing she now rests in the arms of her Savior.
