Virginia M. Salter,
Age 92 of Mpls., born May 1, 1920 in Houston, TX to John and Anne Carroll, passed away September 29, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Jeanne Olson and sister, Joyce. Virginia’s quick wit and compassion will be dearly missed by her daughter, Kathy Ludwig; grandchildren: Michele Fredrickson, Rachel Phelps, Tim (Barb) Heim, Jamie Nickerson and Phillip Nickerson; 2 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and a host of other family and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:30, Wednesday, Oct 3, 2012 with a visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
