Age 87 of Minneapolis, born March 11, 1928 in Kandiyohi Township to Anton & Inga Thorson, passed away March 7, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis. Viola will be dearly missed by her children: Donald Town, Blair (Cathy) Town and Betty (Jimmy) Burgoon; granddaughters: Molly, Rikky, Nicole and Dennie (Joe); great grandson, Brenden; brother, Ruben Thorson; sister, Madaline Kosander and many other family and friends. There will be a funeral service 11:00am, Sat. March 12, 2016 with visitation one hour before at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101 37th Ave. S., Mpls. Viola will be laid to rest with her husband at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
