Vincette D. Maurus

Vincette D. Maurus, age 54, of Corcoran, MN died unexpectedly Saturday, January 3, 2015. Born October 24, 1960 at Nett Lake, MN, Vincette was a graduate of Birchwood High School and had worked in quality assurance. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Jean Schmidt; and brother Francis Chosa. Vincette is survived by her three sons, Eric, John Jr. and Nicholas Maurus; also six sisters and a brother; two grandchildren, Mariah and Lawrence Maurus; a special friend, Jerry Olson; also many extended family members and friends. The Funeral Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh Street in Hastings. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family interment at a later date.
