Ecklund, Victor C.,

Age 84, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, born October 15, 1932 in Northfield to John & Ethelyn Jackson Ecklund, passed away August 25, 2017. He served in the US Navy during the Koren War. Victor was also a member of the Carpenters Local #1644 and a retired carpenter with University of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Grace Marie Halvorson Ecklund; wife, Milda Feldtmose Ecklund; daughter, Margo Ecklund; brothers, Gerald and John Ecklund and sister, Donna Ecklund Hopko. Victor will be dearly missed by his sons: Steven (Beth) Ecklund, Charles (Elisa) Ecklund, and Joseph (Kamela) Ecklund; daughter, Lori (Floyd) Spangenberg; special friend and companion, Lee Schewe; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  A visitation was held August 30, 2017 in Hot Springs, AR. Funeral service, 10:00 am, Wednesday, Sep. 6, 2017, with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23^rd Ave. S., Mpls.  Victor will be laid to rest with his daughter, Margo at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
