Vernon M. Reemts, age 87 of Minneapolis, born Oct.10, 1918 to Ben & Cora Reemts in Deer Creek, MN, passed away Dec. 25, 2005 at Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls, MN. Vernon served in the US Navy during WWII and he was retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years. He was a member of the Everett McClay VFW #1296, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #34 and a member of the Minnehaha United Church of Christ. Vernon is survived by wife, Marcella, of 59 years; son, Donald (Rose); granddaughter, Michele (Patrick) Mulcare; step-grandchildren: Kathy (John) Dawson, Chris (Jennie) Shay, Kyle (Aimee) Shay, John (Debbie) Shay and David Shay; 3 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls., with visitation one hour before the service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Burial Date December 29, 2005
