Veloise "Val" Jean Swanberg

Swanberg (nee Baker), Veloise “Val” Jean, age 89, formerly of Richfield and Minneapolis, lately of Minnetonka, born December 14, 1919 in Kanawha, Iowa to George and Minnie Baker, passed away January 8, 2008. Preceded in death by husband, Lowell; parents and 1 sister. Survived by son, Stephen; sister-in-law, Eloise Erickson; nephews, Chris and Harley “Scott” Odden and many other family and friends. Visitation is 5-7, Thursday, January, 15 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640-23rd Ave. So., Mpls and also one hour before the service Friday at church. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2008 at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101-37th Ave. So., Mpls. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
