Valerie Jean Midthun

Valerie Jean Midthun(nee Walk), 50, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, July 6. She was born August 27, 1963 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Eugene Edwin and Judith Lois (nee Guttentag) Walk. She married David Midthun on August 6, 1994. Valerie loved gardening, quilting, knitting, and the cats who were in her life; Benjamin, Smokie, Blackie, Clarisse, Eugenie, and Peabody. She is survived by her loving husband of over 19 years, David, sister Deborah Hendrickson, niece Kayla, nephew Jason, sister Alison Walk, nephew Sam, plus Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. A Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled for 4-7 PM Friday, July 11 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, (952) 432-2331. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 12 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 308 4th Avenue, Grafton, Iowa. Inurnment will follow in Grafton Cemetery.
