Schlismann, Val Jean, age 85 of Mpls., born Jan. 27, 1924 to Richard & Emma Johnson, died May 11, 2009. Member of Mpls. Hiking Club and Sons of Norway. Survived by sons, Duane, Sr. (Deborah) and Marc (Deborah); 4 grandchildren, Duane Jr. (Emmy), Kimberly (Don James) Tuey, Jackie (Roger) Huggett, Teresa De Baun; 7 great-grandchildren, Dylan James Tuey, Brittanie (Pete) Fischer, Brian Moore, Brenton Moore, Travis, Coty and Nicholas De Baun; brother, Robert (Lee) Johnson; sisters-in-law, Elnora Johnson and Pearl Johnson; nieces & nephews. Service Thursday 11 AM, Lebanon Lutheran Church, 36th St. and 21st Ave. S. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. and 1 hour before service at the church. Interment Lakewood.
