Timothy P. Mccabe

Timothy Paul McCabe, age 51 of Hastings, died unexpectedly November 22, 2009 at the family residence. Tim was born March 27, 1958 in Hastings to Terrence and Margaret (Lindley) McCabe, was a 1976 graduate of Hastings High School and worked as a commercial diver. He married Gayle McCarthy on June 8, 1991 in Hastings. He is preceded in death by father Terry; infant brother Shawn; step-daughter Crystal Moeller. Timothy is survived by his wife and best friend Gayle; mother Peggy; brothers Mike (Jeanie) McCabe, Dan (Carol) McCabe, Pat (Kathy) McCabe, Kelly (Debbie) McCabe and Brian (Heidi) McCabe; sister Terrylee (Steve) Tervola; also many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The Funeral Service, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 10:00am Saturday, November 28, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings, with the visitation held at church from 4-8pm Friday and 1 hour prior to the Saturday Mass. Pallbearers are Cassidy McCabe, Cody Estlund, Brent Tervola, Ross Tervola, Max McCabe, Terrence McCabe, Brendan McCabe, Sean McCabe, Rory McCabe, Ryan McCabe; honorary pallbearers are Russ Plath, Kerry Krier, Ben Tims, Bob Kleis, Bob McCarthy, Debbie Olson, Jane Wesolowski, Doreen Berg, and Kenny Barndollar. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Tim is forever in our hearts.
