Thomas M. "Tommy" Duray

Thomas M. "Tommy" Duray, age 63 of Hastings, died suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday evening, February 28, 2021. Thomas Michael, the son of Daniel and Elaine (Gunderson) Duray, was born in Minneapolis on January 24, 1958. Tommy was a guy that loved to have many "guy toys" over the years, especially his pontoon. He also enjoyed spending the day out on the lake fishing with his mom. Tommy was also a jokester any chance he could be, and will always be remembered for wearing his funny t-shirts. Most of all, Tommy loved his cats, especially Tawny who lived to be twenty nine. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan. Tommy is survived by his mother, Elaine Morey; siblings, Debra (Dennis) Bauer, Barbie (John) Keene, Jean (Rick) Isle, Alan (Karen) Duray, and Penny Ellingson; and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Celebration of Tommy's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Animal Ark in Tommy's memory. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
