Thomas L. Knutsen
Age 73 of Apple Valley, born Nov. 4, 1941 in Minneapolis to Francis and Hertha Knutsen, passed away Sep. 11, 2015 with his family at his side. Tom retired after a 30 year career with Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He truly loved spending time with his family and friends and traveling; especially if he could combine the two. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting. Tom embraced life as an adventure. He is preceded in death by his brother, Steven. Tom will be dearly missed by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Joanne; children, Deb Knutsen and Ron (Heidi) Knutsen; grandchildren, Brandon (Rochelle), Kayla (Derek) and Piper; great-grandsons, Keagen and Parker; brothers, Jerry (Donna) and Lyle (Dorothy); sister, Susan (Ed); sister in law Patricia; special friends, Kim Vlaisavljevich, Judy & Bob Bolin and many other family and friends. There will be a gathering of family and friends, 4-7pm, Wednesday, Sep. 16, 2015 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Tom will be laid to rest at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers.
