Thomas A. age 68, of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2010. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman & Evelyn Lee of Mpls. He is survived by his children, Kristi (John) Lawton, Kari Groebner & Jason; grandchildren, Tom & Lindsey; sister, Barbara (Wally) Gibson; brother, John Lee; former wife, Vickie Lee; 2 nieces, 2 nephews & many friends. Tom was a graduate of Roosevelt H.S. (1959). He enjoyed dancing, fishing, camping & was an avid sportsman, lifelong Republican, volunteer with the Salvation Army & Atlanta Summer Olympics. He was also a multi-million meter rower at NW Club & YMCA, & a dedicated blood donor (60+ gallons). We will greatly miss his generosity, quick wit & easy smile. Memorial service Saturday, March 13 at 2 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley with a gathering of family & friends 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials to Minnesota Valley YMCA, American Cancer Society , or blood donation at Memorial Blood Center. Interment Fort Snelling at a later date.
