Theresa Mary Meier

Theresa M. Meier, age 90, of Siren, WI, formerly of Prescott and Hastings area;died January 5, 2012 at the Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Theresa was born April 23, 1921 in Hampton, MN to Michael and Mary Meier. She married Gust Meier May 28, 1940 in Vermillion, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband Gust; sons Kenneth and Steven; 2 brothers and3 sisters. Theresa is survived by her eleven children: Vernon (Ginny) Meier of Hastings, Dave (Jean) Meier of Frederic, WI, Gary (Donna) Meier of Hastings, Tom (Carol) Meier of Prescott, Darlene (Ronald) Langer of Ellsworth, Dennis (Kay) Meier of Cottage Grove, Mike (Sandy) Meier of Prescott, Jan Hince of Prescott, Glenn (Barb) Meier of Frederic, Patti (Mike) Cochran of Prescott, and Dan Meier of Siren; also 32 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren; sisters Marie Fuchs, Rose Meier, Madalyn Fuchs, Emma Seeger; and sister-in-law Charlotte Meier. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke will be heldat 11 AM Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings, MN. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Mother Seton Hall (west entrance) and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers are John Meier, Jim Meier, Brian Meier, Matt Meier, John Langer, Gregory Meier, Michael Meier, Mark Hince, Jake Meier, and Jason Snyder.
