Terance "Terry" L. Plan

Terance �Terry� Plan, age 53 of Hastings died Friday, January 24, 2014 at United Hospital in St. Paul.Terry was born February 10, 1960 in Hastings to Emmett and Theola �Dutch� (Hubley) Plan. He was a graduate of Hastings High School, class of 1978 and married Candy LaCoursiere on March 30, 1979 at the Hastings Courthouse. Terry had retired from Smead Manufacturing after over thirty years of service and enjoyed co-ownership and operating the Hastings Marina. He loved the marina business, boating and life on the water, but the pride and joy of his life were his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Candy; children Chris Plan and Shari (Jesse) Viall; grandchildren Austin and Hudson Viall; seven brothers and sisters; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.The Memorial Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright will be held 11 AM Monday, January 27 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St, Hastings with visitation two hours prior to the service.
