Tadd L. Salo

Tadd L. Salo, age 35 of Hastings, died suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday morning, December 31, 2021. Tadd Laurie, the son of Terence and Janice (Brunner) Salo, was born on November 6, 1986, in Minneapolis. He was an avid participant in the Lifeworks Day Program in Apple Valley where he made many friendships. Tadd loved the outdoors, especially up at the cabin in Ely. We will always remember his dimpled smile and great sense of humor that will be missed by many people. He was preceded in death by his father; and by his grandparents. Tadd is survived by his mom, Janice Salo; siblings, Paula (Robert) Betz, Ronald Von Bargen, Elizabeth (Jerry) Christianson, and Erin (Craig) Berg; nieces and nephews, Katherine (Sam) Schroeder, Caleb, Aaron, Anna, Esther, Emma, Lydia, Rachel, Abigail, and Rebekah Betz, Marissa Von Bargen (Aric Keller), Andrew Von Bargen, Jana, Jonathan, Jill, Julia Christianson, and Judah Berg; great niece, Paislee Christianson; aunts, Laura (Fran) Teuber, Norma Beskar, and Carol Murphy; personal care attendants who were like family, Anne and Kurt Graumann, Barb Hamilton, and Pam Green; and by many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, with Father David Hennen officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, and for one hour prior to Mass at church on Thursday morning. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
