Sylvia C Gunderson

Sylvia C. Gunderson, age 79 of Minneapolis, born October 3, 1928 in Iona Township, MN, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family August 12, 2008. Preceded in death by husband, Max; brothers: Francis, Mark, Paul & Bernard Platt. Sylvia is survived by children: Melony (Kurt) Denson, Sandra (Harry) Martin, Randy (Michelle) Gunderson, Darcy (George) Uitz, Lori Alkire, Jacqui (Craig) Little; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Bissen and Clara Larson; brother, Charles (Mary) Platt; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sylvia’s two greatest loves in life were spending time with her family and in her garden. Visitation is 6-8 PM, Friday, August 15 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. and also one hour before Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Church of St. Helena, 3201 E. 43rd St., Mpls. Interment Monday, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
