Susan Renae Peschiutta, age 71 of Rosemount, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026.
Preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Gretchen Rasmusson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo & Martha Peschiutta; and sister-in-law, Diane Peschiutta.
Survived by her loving husband of 51 years, David; children, Daniel (Angela), Laura (Matthew Pfister), and Benjamin (Vanessa); grandchildren, Jackson, Abigail, Jenna, Ethan, Nathaniel, and Ella; siblings, Cynthia (Brian) Weeks, Dean (Sheila) Rasmusson, and Christine (Randy) Syverson; brothers-in-law, Sante Peschiutta and Robert (Beverly) Peschiutta; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Susan was born in Willmar, MN and grew up in Minneapolis. Her and David were married on January 11, 1975, at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. After a couple of years, they moved to Rosemount where they raised their three children.
She worked as a school bus driver for Rosemount School District 196 for over 30 years until her retirement in 2017.
Susan enjoyed playing guitar and singing. She cherished her dogs and was an animal lover at heart. Susan, David, and their family spent many summers camping at a resort on Norway Lake. Most of all, she loved spending quality time with her family and will be dearly missed.
Memorial Service at 11am on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Starkson Family ~ Anderson Chapel, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Alzheimer’s Association or the Humane Society.
