Steven Ray Carstens

Steve Ray, age 18, of Apple Valley, MN, passed away after a brief illness. Preceded in death by great-grandparents and “grandma Kitty”, Tina Strain; survived by his parents, Christopher and Twila Carstens; sister, Maria; brother, Kevin; grandparents, Helen and Merlyn Carstens “grandma and grandpa Doggy”, and Ted Strain “grandpa Kitty”;many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates and teachers at Eastview High School, housemates and caregivers at REM Pony; and special nurse, Coralie Nelson. To a son, grandson, brother, and friend who filled our soul with the sound of laughter and warmed our hearts with his smile. Memorials preferred to the family. Funeral services Thursday, Feb 14th at 3 PM in Henry W Anderson Mortaury, 14850 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN with his visitation Wednesday, Feb 13th from 5 to 7 PM in the mortuary.
