Shirley M. Becker

Shirley Marie Becker, age 75, of Hastings, died Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Regina Assisted Living in Hastings. She was born February 6, 1938 in Hastingsto Michael J. and Cecelia E. (Bauer) Kasel. She attended Hastings schools. She married Peter M. Becker June 10, 1961 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. Peter died March 23, 2001. She was a homemaker and was a lifetime member of St. Boniface and now St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister Mary Kasel She is survived by her children LuAnn Becker of Hastings, Linda (Paul) Drellack of Hastings, Deb (Rich) Reinardy of Hastings, Patty Yaunick of Hastings and Pete (Jill) Becker Jr. of Welch; grandchildren Renee Becker, Jack Drellack, Randy Nicole Reinardy, Kathleen Becker, Ashley Leon Yaunick, Jacob Siebenaler, Tyler Mason Martin; great granddaughter Abigail; siblings Marge (Jerry) Hartung of Elmwood, WI, Jerry (Char) Kasel of Hastings, Rosie Schaar of Arizona, Karen (friend Harry Welch) Elliott of Hastings, Jeanne (Bob) Weiers of Hastings, Anita (John) Bahls of Hastings, Maureen (Tom) Kimmes of Hastings and Mike Kasel Jr of Hixton, WI. The funeral Mass officiated by Father Martin Siebenaler will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, August 26, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West in Hastings. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 Seventh Street East, Hastings and on Monday for 1 hour prior to the funeral at church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
