Shirley Evelyn Koderick

Shirley E. Koderick, age 79 of Apple Valley, went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2025. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Anna; her parents; and her siblings. Shirley is survived by her children, Michael Koderick, Maggie (Christopher) Martin, and Mark (Alana) Koderick; grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew, Amelia, Audrey, Whitaker, and Hartley; great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shirley loved to bring happiness to others with her baking. She was known for her fudge and brought it to every occasion. Shirley really brought out her adventurous side by going on trips with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting and especially enjoyed giving it as a gift to others when requested. Shirley had a green thumb and took great pride in the plants she grew in her garden and helped others plant items in their gardens. Her love for her grandchildren was beyond compare. She attended every event she could to watch all of them grow, learn, and enjoy the world.

Memorial Service at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 16725 Highview Ave., Lakeville, with a visitation starting at 12:30pm. In lieu of fresh cut flowers, the family prefers plants to be sent in her memory.
