Sheryll L. Mayes-Okerstrom, age 69, passed away peacefully in St. Cloud, MN on Wednesday morning, January 10, 2024.
Sheryll was born on May 1, 1954 to parents George and Audrey Hathaway in Minneapolis, MN. Sheryll was a devoted and loving mother to all of her children. She had a love for the outdoors and was a passionate hunter and an avid fisher. Her favorite color was purple, which represents the vibrancy she brought to the lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Audrey Hathaway.
Sheryll is survived by her loving husband, James Okerstrom; her children, grandchildren and great-children.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2023.
