Age 34 of Burnsville, was called home on March 25, 2022. Preceded by her grandparents. Survived by her son, Carter Melander; fiancé, William Barfknecht; mother, Rita R. (Terry) Ledbetter; father, John Melander; brother, Travis (Maria) Melander; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Debbie & Dick Green; and other loved ones. Shauna was a loving mother, fiancé, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician and had a passion for helping as many animals as she could. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and motorcycle adventures. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Memorial Service at 11am on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be put towards and set up for Carter Melander’s future.
