Donovan, Sarah I.
age 96, of Lakeville, formerly of So. Mpls., passed away peacefully on Oct. 15, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bill and Joseph Ziegler; son, Joseph B. Ziegler; grandson, Jimmy Wilder; and 2 brothers, Ed and Bill Custard. Sarah is survived by children, Virginia Dillon, Dan (Beckie) Ziegler and Sharon (John) Wulff; 9 grandchildren, Jeff, Lisa, Will, Joe Z., Amy, Tina, Danny, Robin and Joe W.; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Virginia Graham and Louise Fitz; 2 brothers, Phil (Pat) Custard and Dan (Mim) Custard; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sarah and Bill were co-owners of “Our Kitchen” starting in 1969 until Bill became ill and then it was sold to their grandson and still remains in the family, at its present location. Funeral services for Sarah will be held 1 PM Saturday, Oct. 18 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with her visitation one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Private family interment in Fort Snelling.
