Sandra Lee Meier

Sandra Lee Meier, age 61 of Prescott, WI died unexpectedly Saturday, May 28, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Sandra, the daughter of James and Norma (Cook) Edwards was born on October 19, 1954 at Eglin AFB in Florida. After graduating from Alamogordo, New Mexico High School in 1972, she was united in marriage to Michael L. Meier at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prescott, WI on October 4, 1974. She worked as a legal secretary for over 40 years in addition to raising their three children. Sandy enjoyed life, family, friends and being a grandma. She was preceded in death by her father, James Edwards and her in-laws, Gust and Theresa Meier. Sandy is survived by her husband Michael; sons, Michael J. and Travis J.; daughter, Ashlee M. (Kenneth Dillard); two grandchildren, Evelynn Bailey Meier and Cecelia Grace Meier; her mother Norma Edwards; brother, James Edwards (Robyn); sisters Sherri McKissick (Stuart) and Terri Dudley (Jerry); also many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 269 Dakota Street, Prescott, WI with Fr. George Szews officiating. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at church.
