Samantha "Sammie" Erickson, age 29 of Hastings, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Samantha Rae, the daughter of Trina (Coller) Erickson, was born on October 28, 1996, in St. Paul, and attended schooling in Hastings where she graduated with the class of 2015. Sammie loved spending time with her grandpa on the farm in East Cottage Grove where they would spend countless hours driving the tractors, trucks, four-wheelers, and simply enjoying a soda pop or two. Her incredible love for animals, especially her dog Chevy and cat smokey, was always shown with joy and comfort. Over the years, Sammie enjoyed working as an office assistant at Solid Staging where she had the chance to work closely with her boyfriend, Cole, and his family. Most of all, Sammie cherished the simple times of being with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandpas, Roland Coller and Lloyd Erickson.

Sammie is survived by her mom, Trina Erickson (Mike Kazmierczak); siblings, Bre Erickson (Mike McKenzie), Hayley Kazmierczak, Hana Kazmierczak, and Hunter Kazmierczak; nephews, Weston and Beau; boyfriend, Cole Cavegn; grandma, Sandra Coller; and by many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Sammie's Life will be held at The Red Barn (The Cottage Grove VFW Post 8752) from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, Sammie's family kindly requests memorials in her memory.

Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
