Ruth Ann Kvam

Ruth Ann Kvam, age 77 of Hastings died peacefully Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Regina Assisted Living. Ruth was born June 13, 1936 in Minneapolis to Richard and Genevieve (Fulford) Krogstad. She graduated from Washburn High School in 1954 and married Arnold "Arne" Kvam at Oak Grove Lutheran Church on October 11, 1957. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Karen Ruth, she is survived by her husband Arne; sons Keith (Bohdanna) and Kevin; grandchildren Maya, Theo and Sophie; also cousins. TheMemorial Service, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Menke will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Our Saviour's Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth Street in Hastings. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Music Ministry of Our Saviours Ev. Lutheran Church, Hastings Rivertown Lions Club, Spiritual Care at Augustana Care Center Hastings, or Spiritual Care at Regina Assisted Living.
