Ruby V. Thompson

Ruby V. Thompson, age 87, of Hastings died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Augustana Care Center. Ruby was born January 21, 1923 in Lindford, MN to Conrad and Emma (Lindvall) Pearson. She married Irving Thompson on May 24, 1950 in Ladysmith, WI. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and six siblings. She is survived by her children Sue (Pete) Mollick of Hastings, Stu (Jeanne) Thompson of Apple Valley, Brian (Pam) Thompson of Becker, Diane Thompson of Hastings and Todd Thompson of Gaborone, Botswana; grandchildren David Thompson of Chicago, IL., Anne (Justin) Blessing of Hastings, Sarah (Brandon) Sakry of Inver Grove Heights and Kristi (Nate) Bucher of Becker; great-grandchildren Joshua and Mari Sakry.The Memorial Service will be held 11AMTuesday, July 13, 2010 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church , 615 Vermillion St., Hastings. The visitation will be from 5-8PM Monday, July 12, 2010at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings.
