Ruby L. James, age 97, passed away September 4, 2009 in Hastings, MN. Ruby was born December 5, 1911 in Glencoe, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert H. James; son, John Robert James; parents, Charles and Clara Dove; and brothers, Willard and John Dove. She is survived by daughter, Clara Grace James; grandson, Zachary James; Clara's foster daughter Cynthia (Glen Lyles) Evans; Clara's foster grandchildren Charles Sloan, Ayolanda (Adrian) Mack, and Lynell Evans; and brother, Wallace (Cloyce) Dove. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009, 11:00 A.M. at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. Interment will be at a later date in Glencoe, Oklahoma.
