Royce G. Daniel age 67 of Hastings passed away at the Lodge Hopice on Jan. 12, 2009. He was born April 13, 1941 to George and Hildegard Daniel in Oakland, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Hilda. Royce is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Gregory Royce Sr. (Seeta) Daniel; Rochelle (Timothy) Leahy; Stephen (Emily) Daniel; and Paul Daniel; grandchildren, Gabby Leahy; Luke Leahy; Megan Leahy; Cassidy Daniel; Josalyn Daniel; Madison Daniel; Gregory Royce Daniel Jr.; Cal Daniel; Wyatt Daniel; brothers; sisters; nieces; nephews; and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (1/16) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cathloic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation 2 hours prior to mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post 1210 Honor Guard. Pallbearers are Borris Mokoff; Cyrus Kirk; Lanny Witter; Denny Treuter; Richard Freiermuth; and John Bunn.
