Roy L. Genevich

Roy L. Genevich, age 69, of Hastings passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness.

Roy grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. After high school, he attended the University of Tulsa and was a member of Sigma Nu. Roy worked the majority of his career at Koch Pipeline Company where he worked for 20+ years as an Information Systems Manager. After retiring from Koch, he went on to be a manager at Spiral Pizza until 2021. In his free time, Roy enjoyed reading, golfing, the outdoors, and fishing. He also spent time traveling and visiting family with his partner, Lisa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix & Genevieve, and brother, Greg.

Roy is survived by his loving partner, Lisa; children, Gabrielle, Jared, & Kelsey (Jason) Coyle; grandchildren, Aubrey & Hudson Coyle; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Roy's life will be held Sunday, April 2 at 2:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with a visitation starting at 12:00.
