Rosemary "Rosie" Snyder, age 78 of Hastings, passed away peacefully at home on Friday evening, November 21, 2025.
Rosemary Frances, the daughter of August "Auggie" and Evelyn (Bohart) Schluessler, was born in Hastings on January 2, 1947. Following her education, Rosie was united in marriage to Harry Snyder on September 25, 1964, and he later preceded her in death on April 13, 2007. Rosie was a longtime CNA at Haven Homes and Regina. She enjoyed the simple things in life, and loved the chance to play crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry; and by her siblings.
Rosie is survived by her children, Tom (Jill) Snyder, Tracy (Wayne) Olson, Tim Snyder and Amy (Dan) Smith; and by her grandchildren, siblings, and other relatives and friends.
A private family graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harry.
Arrangements are being complete by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
