Rose Marie Zwiefelhofer

Rose Marie Zwiefelhofer, age 87 of Hastings, MN, formerly of Chippewa Falls, WI died February 4, 2014 at Regina Nursing Home.Rose Marie was born May 6, 1926 in Tilden to Henry and Loretta (Ruf) Boos. She married Harold Swoboda June 19, 1945 and together they farmed 19 years in the Town of Tilden, WI. She later worked as an aide at the Northern Center. Harold preceded her in death February 11, 1965. She later married William Zwiefelhofer on November 9, 1968 and he preceded her in death April 17, 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and three step-sons Lloyd, Lyle and Roger; 5 brothers Ludwig, Clarence, Gerald, Henry and Roman Boos; and 3 sisters Malinda Knorn, Josephine Fenner and Henrietta Daken. Rose Marie is survived by her daughter Barbara (Joe) Hoepner of Hastings, formerly of Chippewa Falls; step-sons Clifford (Linda) Zwiefelhofer of Chippewa Falls and Marvin (Jane) Zwiefelhofer of Bloomer, WI;brothers Norman (Joyce) Boos of Cadott, WI, Thomas (Margaret) Boos of Milwaukee, WI; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 1 PM Thursday, February 6 at Regina Chapel, 1175 Nininger Rd, Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Chippewa Falls, WI.
