Rose Marie Sieben

Rose Marie Sieben, age 88, of Hastings, passed away surrounded by her family, after a brief illness on August 14, 2017. She was born in Hastings on December 2, 1928 to Lawrence and Marie (Heue) Augustine. Rose married Clarence Sieben at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Hastings on November 27, 1948. She graduated from Hastings High School and was a proud member of the Daughters of Isabelle and the Catholic Aid Association. She loved to travel, go on camping trips and play in her card clubs. Rose was a great cook and enjoyed sewing and various other crafts. She also loved spending time volunteering at church. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents; brothers, Louis, Bob, Paul, and Jerry; and sons in law, Dave Mueller and Scott Partington. She is survived by her children, Margy (Matt) Kuisle of Rochester, Rita Sieben, Carol Mueller and Kathy (Glen) Biscoe all of Hastings, Bob (Laurie) Sieben of Eau Claire, WI, Patty (Bill) Casurella of Eagan, Judy Partington and Mary Sieben of Hastings, Vickie (Chuck) Loesch of Bismarck, ND, Jerry Sieben and Jenny (Tracy) Rupe of Hastings; 30 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Sr. Dolores Augustine; many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday (8/17) at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at church, with a Rosary service at 3:30 PM, and visitation will also be held one hour prior to mass on Thursday. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.
